We took Autumn for her first bike ride this afternoon in the awesome weather. I think she liked it...look closely at the picture, she's asleep!! It was fun to spend some time with Hank and Keri. I know Autumn loves to watch them.

I haven't updated in awhile...sometimes this gets away from me! So here's the latest...Yesterday afternoon wasn't the best day for the babes, Autumn spiked a small fever and was a bit fussy (Another top tooth looks like it's just about to break through her gums). A dose of Tylenol in the afternoon, and she was a happy camper for her Dad when I had to go to work. Today she was been nothing but pleasant. I was able to enjoy a nice afternoon lunch at a Thai restaurant with Grammie, Grandpa, Aunt Nellie, and Uncle Jason (We missed you Miles)! Autumn sat like a perfect baby the whole meal, you go girl! I hope the worst is behind us this teething round.
However, one of her new "things" is being hysterical at bedtime (some nights she is, and some nights she isn't). When you open the door she'll be standing in her crib, holding onto the railings , and staring at the door (you can tell she's been willing the door to open with her Jedi moves). The picture below in the crib is a happy one in the morning, I didn't get her standing though. However I did capture her practicing to stand. If there are items on the floor that are low enough she'll pull herself onto her feet. She's not great at standing up straight yet, but practice makes perfect!
And here's something else to think about. A couple of days ago I went into Autumn's room after I got out of the shower. She was pulling diapers out of her diaper holder, and low and behold, she was dirty. Coincidence, I thought. Then today I was baking cookies and she crawled into the dining room to the diaper changer. Her diaper needed to be changed, big time. So what do you think? Can she tell when there's a mess on her behind? I don't know, but it's fun to think that she can. I got a picture with a diaper...she's funny.

Autumn if offically seven months old!! She's getting crazier by the second. She loves to crawl around on the floors, and is starting to get into everything. Her teddy bear is the perfect size to roll around with. The weather here has been awful for April, so we havn't been able to get out as much as I would have liked. Hopefully things will be getting brighter and we'll give the jogging stroller more of a work out! We're off to the mall today so I can pick up some new contact lenses. She'll be hanging out with her number one man (Daddy!!) tonight while I'm at work. That's about all we have going on in Pittsburgh today, take care!

I can't believe that Autumn is almost 7 months old!! That's crazy. Last night we went to the mall with Grammie...she was cooing and smiling at everyone. We felt like we had a celebrity with us. It was so much fun. Autumn has started to pull herself onto her knees whe she's in front of her piano or chair. It's so cute...

Autumn is growing so fast!! She is now offically crawling. If there's something that she really wants , there's no stopping her. She'll take about 4 foward crawls and then lunge towards the object she's after. She's really started to take off these past couple of days, baby gates here we come!! Some of her other favorite activites include wrestling teddy bears or pillows, chewing on cookies (with mom or dad right there), or chatting "Ma ma ma ma ma or Ba ba ba ba" (Ma ma when's she's mad about something ex: hungry, tired, dirty diaper). She's also started reaching for people that she wants. I found her behind the chair in the living room, she has a thing for strings...
