Family Fun...

I don't have a picture for this, but I'll be sure to post one soon. Miles bought new rollerblades to "walk" the dog with after I had a vivid dream about rollerblading with Spencer (I saw an episode on the dog whisperer where he rollerblades with dogs+We use to rollerblade with my old family dog Rusty). Anyways...tonight I took Audi on the back of the bike and the whole family, including the dog, went to Virginia Manor for some biking/rollerblading fun. And let me tell you...I couldn't keep up with Miles and Spencer, and I was on the bike. I don't think I've ever seen a dog run that fast before, except Marabelle...maybe. At one point the dog was not only pulling Miles, but also Audi and me on the bike. Yes, we wore his butt out. It was a lot of fun to spend some time together, and get some freash air at the same time (finally!). So we'll keep you updated on the family's new activity together...

It's official...I need a post about being pregnant

Audi is going to be a big sister on July 29th, if this baby decides to come on time. If not we'll have another little one in August. Anyway, I'm 18+ weeks pregnant now, almost over the middle hump, and feeling quite fine. ( Except for the continuous back pain, I couldn't feel better!) We did have the ultrasound this morning, and walked away with a healthy check up...all systems are a go. I did have grand ideas about not knowing the sex of the baby until delivery, but when the tech failed to tell us to look away we had our answer...a little girl (my favorite!). If everything goes according to plan we'll have the baby in July and a graduation celebration in August (yikes...that's only 5+ months away!!!) You can guess the body parts below...peace...

Is winter over yet?

It's another freezing day here in Pittsburgh, but hopefully this is the last of the cold weather. We've had days that were warm enough to go to parks and playgrounds...so here's to it coming back and staying!! I can't wait to be able to play outside again.
We've been so busy lately that the blog has taken a back seat to life. Midterms are over so I have a little bit of breathing room before the onset of finals in April. (Who knew that Chick-fil-a- is a decent place to study if you have a two year old-an indoor playground and food? Bring it on!) Miles is leaving next week for a business trip, so it will be some serous girl time while he's away. I can't tell you all of the times that we've been out and I think to myself, "I should have brought my camera!" I really wish I had the camera with me because now I can't recall everything we've done this past month, and I don't have any pictures to remind me! We've had birthday parties, wedding showers, warm days playing outside, trips to museums, play-dates, and doctor's appointments. This post boasts the only 3 Audi pictures I've taken all month...so enjoy!!
On a side note about the picture above...Audi loves loves loves to take off her clothes. Socks have about an hour lifespan before I find them discarded somewhere in the house. Yesterday she was having a "I'm not listening but I'm really really cute day." Miles and I were sitting at the dinner table after a difficult meal (just 5 more bites please...) when she jumped down and took off her pants and underwear. She ran over to the radiator and bent with her backside exposed explaining with enthusiasm, "Warming up my bummy!" It was very hard not to laugh...

It's winter time...

I'm really feeling the winter time season here in Pittsburgh. It's hard when you can't go to parks and enjoy the outdoors with an Autumn in tow. There's only so many times you can go to museums!! However...on the bright side in was warm enough on Sunday to spend a couple of hours outside playing with the neighborhood kids. Audi got a good dose of sledding, building igloos, sipping hot chocolate (I think it was her favorite part), putting on snow pants (she did say "I'm funny" after I stuck her in a pair that were a little too big for her), and playing in the snow with Spencer. She was a trooper...and after 2 hours outside I was ready to go in, but she wasn't. There was some wheeling and dealing, but I did get the bugger inside to warm up! I think there's skiing or snowboarding in her future...

We're killing some time taking pictures in the kitchen. One of Autumn's favorite things to do is put on some dress up clothes and dance in the family room, hence the green tutu (spelling anyone?) that she has on.
Here's Audi and Miles outside in the snow...she was more than willing to go outside and play after so many cold days kept her inside.

First Haircut

It's official, Autumn has had her first haircut! Although just a trim it feels much shorter. She still has her baby curls when her hair gets damp. She's grown from my little baby into a little girl, or as she says, "I bigger".

On another note the school semester has started again. So we'll be pretty busy here for the next couple of months. We'll keep you posted!
