Baby Easton
Aunt Nellie and Uncle Jason welcomed Easton (9lbs 6oz) December 20th. We're so excited to welcome another family member! Easton did have to spend some time in the NICU for an elevated bilirubin, but so far his levels have been low enough for him to stay at home sweet home. We're looking forward to dinner tonight at the Sicher's to welcome his arrival!!
At the hospital with a day ( not even) old Easton. Autumn is all about the baby. We did have a mini crisis intervention when she tried to feed him a peanut M&M at Aunt Nelle's house yesterday. She has shown genuine concern for him while he's been sick, which is so sweet to watch.
Here's a pround Uncle Miles and cousin Autumn.
Here's Autumn in her new dress Grandma Lori sent out. She loves loves loves her dresses which I find to be very funny and cute. This dress is very special, she enjoys showing everyone the squirrel.

Christmas 2008
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. The highlight was welcoming the newest family member Easton, Autumn's new cousin. Christmas Eve we spent the evening at Uncle Rich's and Aunt Kim's house enjoying family. Christmas morning we spent together as a family, which was very special to me. I enjoyed Miles and Autumn as we had some low key time together opening gifts. We had dinner with Grandparents, while Nellie and Jason were able to get away from the hospital long enough to sit down and enjoy some grub.
Autumn got a dancing dog from Aunt Suanne and Uncle Bill. She placed it in the dog cage on this particular occasion...
Thanksgiving 2008
It's been so long since I last updated the blog I don't know where to start. We've been busy wrapping up the end of the year and getting ready to start all over again. I took my last final the second week in December...another semester down, three more to go! I feel like there might be a light at the end of the tunnel after all...
We were able to enjoy some time with Lucas and Krissy over the Thanksgiving break. It's always nice catching up with Lucas, and it was wonderful to meet his girlfriend Krissy. Miles informed me he had a great time going out with his two brothers and drinking some beers. He already misses both Nate and Lucas and wishes he had more time to spend with them both. On a side note...Lucas has inspired to Miles to register for a triathlon in Wash DC in September of next year. Let the games begin...
Krissy, Lucas and Autumn before they left
Here's a picture of Autumn in her new outfit Aunt Cate got her for her Birthday. She loves the sweatshirt and always wants to wear it to this day! We were able to visit with Cate the weekend before Thanksgiving when she came into Pittsburgh. As always...we love it when she visits!! I especially enjoyed our night out, and walking around the Andy Warhol Museum.

Halloween
Trick or treating with Autumn this year was so much fun!! She loved, loved, loved her mermaid outfit, and it was too cute watching her walk around in it. She has been obsessed with The Little Mermaid, so when she saw the costume in the store...that was it, she was going to be a mermaid for Halloween. She still wears it around the home. The next morning when we woke up and walked outside she looked at me and said "no treats mommy?" Just once a year little goose!

Zoo trip...again
We took another trip to the zoo (I love my season pass) awhile ago before the weather started to get cooler. I know I've said it before, but it really is cool to watch the baby elephants together, which is why we went. Autumn is really into watching the animals, but when I asked her what her favorite part was she said "food". I guess I can't argue with that!
On a side note we went to the Carnegie History Museum today with Aunt Nellie, Grammie, and Papa. Autumn did very well walking around and looking at the exhibits. I hadn't seen the dinosaur exhibit since it was finished. I thought it was definitely worth the trip...so if anyone comes to visit and wants to go...we're in! There was also a "life on mars" temproary exhibit that was interesting to walk around. I enjoyed a portion of art work concerning suburbia...makes you want to advoid sprawling America...

Update
I know it has been what feels like forever and I havn't had a chance to put up some new pictures!! School work has kept me so busy, I can't even begin to explain what the end up the semester is going to feel like. I won't know what to do with myself!! Everyone here is doing well. Autumn is really starting to talk a lot more. Everyday she says something else that cracks me up. I love it!!
This girl has got some personality. Autumn has been having some "terrible two" moments, and I had to call my friend for some "are all the 2 year olds acting crazy today?" Which, they were, go figure. Some weeks I feel like...wow, she is really behaving well, and listening, and this is so much fun. While other days it's like...where did you come from?!! And then she'll come over and say "I better Mommy", which just melts your heart. Oh, the joys of being a parent. Some random pictures...
