I'll make this quick because a very active someone is sitting on my lap trying to type on the keyboard...just wanted to upload some recent pictures of Autumn. I worked over the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised at how well she's doing walking...I'll try to upload a video sometime in the near future. She is a funny girl...

We have been no busy it's hard to keep up with this blog...Autumn is wonderful, she's starting to take steps on a regular basis, but no -I'm walking across the room- yet. She took her first steps when we were at Cook Forest for a long family weekend vacation. It was awesome...she looked like the Bride of Frankenstein, pretty cute!! Below are some pictures from the trip. We were able to go on a couple of short hikes with her, but nothing too intense. Miles and I borrowed my parents tandem bike and went for a ride, our top speed was 32mph...that was fun, although the view doesn't change much in the back:) It was nice to get away and relax.
We did manage to get in a fender bender of sorts on the drive back home. Not to worry, everyone is okay, but now we're in the process of insurance company hassels. A mess that will work itself out I'm sure. To continue our run of bad luck we had to put our poor puppy to sleep. She had a congenital renal problem that was causing her health issues...it's very sad. I miss it most at night because she liked to curl up on your lap and sleep, so sweet.
I'll try to take some more pictues and posts on my end...my summer break is coming up so I'll have no excuses...

We have been so busy...it's time to play a little bit of catch up. The big news is that Aunt Nellie and Jason were married last weekend in a beautiful ceremony outside. We had such a great time, and couldn't be happier for the newlyweds. It was Autumn's first time camping in a tent. She crawled around for about 15 minutes laughing before she fell asleep that night...it was fun for everyone. The only bummer I have is no pictures!! We were so busy having fun we didn't take any snap shots. I'll post some if I get them from Nellie!
Autumn has this funny smile she does every once in awhile. Here it is below...it's right in between blowing bubbles...
We had or first cook off in the backyard this Saturday after a busy day of painting the house. Here are the results of our open Cheerio bag...oh well, what can you do?!

It was a hot and humid day today...it hit the 90s in the afternoon so we decided to check out the Pittsburgh's Children Museum. It was pretty cool. There was a nursery room, Mr Rodgers Neighborhood, The Attic, Clifford the Big Red Dog, a Water Room, and a really cool room where older kids could paint and make paper...(+more stuff that I just don't want to bore you be writing about)...Autumn passed out in the car on the way home and slept another hour when we reached the house. She was one tired babers. We also just finished another wonderful meal in the backyard with Grandparents and the Hennesey's. Everyone came over after we watched Miles play his Sunday soccer game which just happened to be right down the street at Bird Park. (Miles played awesome by the way, he saved a goal while playing defense) It was the perfect way to end a busy weekend...everyone should sleep well tonight!
